Spaghetti Pie
- 1 lb ground beef, crumbled
- 2 eggs
- 1 small Onion, chopped
- 1/3 C grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 2 C shredded Mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1 tsp Italian herb seasoning
- 24 oz spaghetti sauce
- 7 oz spaghetti noodles, cooked
- Preheat oven to 425.
- Lightly spray 9 x 13 pan. Brown meat, onion, chili powder and seasoning. Set aside. Combine spaghetti, eggs, Parmesan cheese. Spread evenly over bottom of pan and up 1-inch on sides. (This is the crust of the pie) Sprinkle half the Mozzarella cheese over spaghetti crust. (I have sprinkled mushrooms & green peppers also). Combine meat and spaghetti sauce; pour over spaghetti crust. Sprinkle on remaining cheese. Cover and bake 25 - 30 minutes or until center is set.
